Literature Text

Life has taught me the secret of friendship…it is nothing more than an illusion.

People come, people go, and some call you “friend” while weaving their delusions.

Outwardly they feign the role, the model of good will and devotion.

Inwardly they plot their gain, you’re naught but an accommodation.

Selfishness, greed, superiority, vanity, condescension, intemperance, lies, and personal preoccupation.

Those are the things my “friendships” inevitably prove to be…wicked and contrived creations.

“My friend!” you may say with a smile on your face, and though I smile back, it’s my betrayer I’ll envision.

I wasn't going to post this one since it was so negative. I don't like negativity, and it takes a lot to bring me to a place this dark. But the truth is we all have those moments when the world overwhelms us and we flounder for understanding and purpose. So I might as well share my own journeys, both the light and dark sides of my moon.

I gotta say, btw...the rythem sucks on this one. I must have been really ticked off XD
